#9 Finding feeds

Which method of finding feeds did you find easiest to use?
I like the direct method. It is a targeted approach. Once found, it is simply a matter of going to the icon directly.
Which Search tool was the easiest for you? I liked Feedster - it searches a wide variety of feeds, is easy to use, has relatively clearly delineated sections, and the search box fits neatly into the screen frame.
Which was more confusing? Topix.net - too much clutter!
What kind of useful feeds did you find in your travels? Librarians' Internet Index - a world of information on a wide variety of subjects!
What other tools or ways did you find to locate newsfeeds? Bloglines' list of the current popular websites.

#8 Make life "really simple" with RSS & a newsreader

What do you like about RSS and newsreaders? I like it how all the latest information on one's chosen topic are served up to the reader in one place.
How do you think you might be able to use this technology in your work or personal life? I think I will be able to use it to keep abreast of the latest developments, and discover all the latest relevant information on my chosen topics, both of work and personal interest. I anticipate that this will increase my awareness of current developments.
How can libraries use RSS or take advantage of this new technology? Libraries can use it to keep clients updated on the latest developments pertaining to their library.
